Prior to applying for registration as an e-puertobilbao platform user, you must get in touch with the Bilbao Port Authorityto identify the company applying and its operational needs, and to be informed of the necessary documents required.
You are reminded that these requirements depend on the nature of the transactions the applicant intends to channel through the e-puertobilbao platform.
In some cases, Port Authority requirements may depend on the requirements of the public agency receiving the data processed over our platform, such as in the case of Summary Declarations and/or Load Manifests (as a document cycle) and Customs (as the public agency receiving such information).

Application/Authorisation to work on the e-puertobilbao platform on behalf of a company
In general, the company representative must sendthe e-puertobilbao UCC (cau@bilbaoport.eus) the documents necessary to request/authorise one or several persons to operate the e-puertobilbao platform on behalf of the company to be represented. To do this, s/he must send the following documents to the UCC:
Original of corporate power of attorney for the legal representative.
Photocopie of the IDs of the legal company representative.
Company certificate issued by its legal representative authorising him/her or the users concerned to operate over e-puertobilbao on behalf of the company. Said document must explicitly state the users authorised by name, two surnames, ID card and position. (You will find an example of this document by clicking this link).
We will get in touch with the company applying to confirm proper receipt of these documents and to report any possible deficiencies in them.
Request for Registration as e-puertobilbao platform user
Once all the documents received have been registered to the satisfaction of our legal department, we will get in touch with the company applying to inform it that its users may proceed with their registration request on the e-puertobilbao platform.
For the purpose, it will be mandatory to fill in the form to be found over the following link. Username will always be their Tax ID number.
The e-puertobilbao platform will send a confirmation e-mail to the address given in the registration form. To continue with registration, it is necessary to click the confirmation link that will arrive in this e-mail.
The e-puertobilbo platform will send an e-mail confirming the end of the Registration process.
Once this e-mail has been received, the user applying will have access to the e-puertobilbao platform using his/her Tax ID number as name and the chosen password.
