The e-puertobilbao platform is the Port of Bilbao Authority’s strategic commitment, and it came into being with a vocation for becoming the reference telematic services platform in the Port of Bilbao; its aim is to contribute improvements in the Port’s competitiveness and in that of the community of users as a whole.
In this sense, apb is proud of the progress made by the e-puertobilbao platform, yet is conscious of what still has to be done.
Consequently, its development will continue to be a strategic commitment backed by the success that has already been achieved.
In accordance with the strategic plan, the development of the e-puertobilbao platform will be based on two major lines of action: on the one hand, offering greater value-added services that help to make it operative for port agents, and on the other, completing the cycle of the logistics chain of goods passing through the Port, which will guarantee the setting up of a unified telematics channel for all the Port of Bilbao user community.
